Basalt Dish Rock Fountains

These beautiful basalt dish rock fountains are naturally sculpted by nature. Under just the right conditions, basalt columns will fracture into these bowl shaped rocks. We drill a 1-3/8″ hole to supply water to the fountain. Most of these dish rocks are about 1-2 feet tall and come in varying widths. These basalt dish rocks have an unusual dish and pillow effect because they are naturally created when smaller pieces calve off of bigger columns. We drill these basalt dish rocks so that they can be used as one-of-a-kind bubblers and water features. These dish rocks occasionally have a rounded bottom, making it possible to use them as a dome-topped water fountain. We always keep a lot of basalt dish rocks in stock in a variety of sizes.
